This issue should be our personal responsibility. How do we feel after throwing trash or litter on the streets? And do we understand the environmental consequences? Gambia, as far as our streets are dirty, we are not ready for anything close to change. We struggle to keep our compounds clean, but our streets turn to be a dumping ground. It is a bad mentality or mindset that some of us have been embracing such attitude.
Our behavior’s play an influential role in our environments. When the environment is dirty, it can spread diseases, viruses, and parasites through direct or indirect contact. Listening is not just an ability but it comes with discipline. Keeping our environment clean, should be part of our daily discipline activities. Not maintaining it significantly shows our lack of understanding towards public health. All these stimulus outstripping attitudes contributed directly to our lack of enthusiasm and support towards the environment.
As the President of the Standstill Organization, The Gambia ,we are mentally and fully ready to lead this project and it’s open for all the youths in the Gambia.
