On a blessed Jumm’ah, the day of blessed prayer,
Haja Maimuna’s spirit rose high in the air.
A woman of faith, with a heart pure and true,
Her life a reflection of Islam’s gentle hue.
Her prayers, like soft rain, on parched souls did fall,
A solace, a comfort, a heavenly call.
With each whispered du’a, to the heavens she’d climb,
Her faith, a beacon, transcending space and time.
A mother so loving, with patience untold,
She nurtured her children, both young and old.
Instilling in them the Quran’s sacred lore,
The path to Jannah, forevermore.
An aunt full of sunshine, her smile ever bright,
She showered her loved ones with warmth and light.
Sharing stories of Prophets, their struggles, their grace,
Planting the seeds of faith, in each precious face.
A mentor with wisdom, a guide ever keen,
She led her students on paths righteous and clean.
Submission to Allah, her message so clear,
This world but a test, the true prize is held near.
Though tears may we weep, for a loss that feels deep,
We find comfort, dear Haja, in knowing you sleep
In Allah’s embrace, on a blessed Jumm’ah day,
Your good deeds a passport, lighting your way.
May Jannah’s gates open, a paradise grand,
A reward for your kindness, throughout all the land.
Your legacy lives on, in the lessons you taught,
A love that transcends, a memory unsought.
With sabr in our hearts, and faith as our guide,
We bid you farewell, with love deep inside.
May Allaah grant mercy, and forgive every sin,
Haja Maimuna’s journey, a new life begins.
