The top stories with no dirty political insults happen rarely
It’s trickery, character assassination and hate speech
Fake promises without practicing what they preach
Rival politicians no more confront one another with ideas
When politics is competition of policies and ideas
But currently that isn’t the case in The Gambia
Ethnic politics is the means of scoring political points
Posing a great threat to our security
These politicians always disappoint
One Gambia, one nation, one people
United we stand, divided we fall
Politicians must honor their promises
Failing to do so, we all know that the writing is gonna be on the wall
